About Myra

Myra provides neurodiversity-affirming counseling services to children, adolescents, and their caregivers. She is proudly neurodivergent herself, and is also a parent of neurodivergent children.

Myra approaches therapy with PACE (a sense of playfulness, acceptance, curiosity and empathy). She creates space for clients and their families to engage in self-reflection alongside psycho-education. Through this approach clients develop growth in self-awareness, self-advocacy, problem-solving, and effective communication skills. Myra helps children and their families find a balance between increasing distress tolerance skills and decreasing unnecessary demands to protect capacity.

Myra takes a holistic approach, and monitors the need for community referrals when additional support may be beneficial. She welcomes all clients regardless of their race, gender, sex, or other identity.

In her free time, Myra loves to organize and participate in neurodiversity and queer affirming community events. She also loves to explore nature, create art and play with her children.
