Payment / Insurance Info

We bill insurance as a courtesy to our clients. We will not bill an insurance carrier that we do not participate with directly. It is the responsibility of the client to know their insurance plans benefits/guidelines and any money owed. This information is available by calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card. We will make every effort to obtain your benefits and go over them with you prior to your first visit.

We only accept payment via credit card or health savings account (HSA) for all evaluations. We can not accept checks without prior authorization from Management staff.

Whether using insurance or private pay, you are required to keep a current credit card on file. If you choose to keep an HSA card on file, we may ask that you keep another credit card as back up. Please note, the evaluation may not take place if the services are not paid up front.

Most evaluations cost between $2,500 and $3,000. However, specific fees will be discussed as part of the consultation and intake process, as these can vary based on your child’s assessment needs. Please note that any testing that is for Educational purposes is not billable to insurance carriers. A Good Faith Estimate will be provided after the initial intake which includes all billing codes and cost estimates for the appointments to follow.

Testing/Evaluation No Show/Late Cancellation Policy

A "Late Cancellation" is when an appointment is cancelled with less than 24-hour notification to the front office during hours of operation so that there is an opportunity to rebook the clinician’s time. Exceptions for late cancellation are illness and significant family emergencies.

A "No Show" is when the client has not arrived within 15 minutes after the start time of the appointment (in-person or virtual). Please call the office if there is something unexpected preventing on-time arrival. We will do our best to accommodate but there will be some circumstances where the appointment cannot occur because of the lack of time.

No Show and Late Cancellation fees are billed directly to the client. These fees are not covered by insurance carriers.

For the initial intake appointment: 1st missed appointment fee = No charge

2nd missed appointment fee = full session cost.

We will not offer a third reschedule.

For the testing appointment (usually several hours long): if the appointment is missed, the charge is half of the fee per hour of scheduled testing. We will offer two reschedule opportunities, not a third.

For the feedback appointment: Missed appointment results in full session cost. We will offer two reschedule opportunities, not a third. We would send the completed report since feedback was not possible.
