Experience:

18 years of child welfare experience with emphasis on attachment issues, abuse/neglect, sexual victimization and offender issues, adolescent identity and life skills/vocational/educational issues, adjustment disorders, ODD and Conduct Disorders.

Experience within both the juvenile neglect and delinquent systems. Individual, family, and group therapy within these arenas. Recent practice emphasis on adolescent and adult anger management skill development (individual and group), substance abuse treatment (individual and group), grief and loss issues, personality disorders, mood disorders and anxiety disorders. As a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), my practice experience includes extensive contract substance abuse assessment and treatment services for Sobriety and Drug Court misdemeanor and felony cases.

Consistent with Court requirements, I provide clients with an extensive substance abuse assessment to determine their appropriate type of treatment and directly service clients in the capacity of individual and group therapy as dictated by their assessment.
